Last summer I attended the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. There were two major lessons I learned while attending:

1) You must do something that scares you every single day

2) I must trust myself and have faith in my work.  If I believe in it then others will too.

These two ideas are what have grounded and inspired my work over the past several months and as I grow into the artist I want to become, I have no intention of leaving these concepts behind. I want to use theatre, film, television, and new media as a vessel to create community and connection among people and in doing so, bring healing to these communities. I believe connection is why we are here, it gives purpose and meaning in our lives, and I want to make work that creates such connections between those who would otherwise be strangers.
